Two cleaners of Dhaka North City Corporation were killed after a covered hit them in Khilkhet, Dhaka, on early Sunday morning.
The deceased were identified as Ashraf Ali, 60, from Sherpur and Nehar Begum, 40, from Naogaon, confirmed officer-in-charge of Khilkhet police station Sajjad Hossain.
鈥楶olice detained the driver of the covered van, and the families of deceased workers have filed a case,鈥� said Sajjad Hossain, adding that the bodies had been sent for autopsy.
