A three-day sixth international mime festival organised by Dhaka University Mime Action concluded at the TSC of the DU on Monday.
The festival, which featured performances by mime artistes from Bangladesh, Denmark, Turkey and South Korea, was inaugurated by the National University vice-chancellor Professor ASM Amanullah on Saturday.
Bangladeshi mime troupes, including Mirror Mime Theater Dhaka, Mime Face Narayanganj, The Mummer鈥檚 Dhaka, Sawon Mime Dhaka, Mukbalaka Dhaka, Nattotori Dhaka, Naogaon Mime Theater and Platform 25 performed at the festival.
Besides, Dany Danies from Denmark, Ilker Kwetzer from Turkey, and Jong hun lee, Roger Kim, Pik Pick and Clown Hong from South Korea participated in the festival.
The festival featuring mime workshops, competition, awards ceremony, photography and poster exhibitions as well as street performances.
Students from different schools, colleges, universities and independent artistes participated in the competition.
