Community Bank Bangladesh PLC has signed a business collaboration agreement with WeGro Technologies Limited to extend agricultural services to improve lives of farmers and agricultural micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises, said a press release.
WeGro鈥檚 major services include access to finance, access to inputs and advisory, access to buyers, promotion and arranging working capital loans and also engage with farmers to provide agri-loan through its platform.
Community Bank managing director (current charge) Kimiwa Saddat and WeGro managing director Mahmudur Rahman signed the agreement at the bank鈥檚 head office recently.
Among others, Community Bank corporate banking head and business (branch) head Md Ariful Islam, ADC head and MD鈥檚 coordination team head Md Mamun ur Rahman, SME and agriculture head Sharif Hasan Mamun, WeGro chief financial officer Ilham Hasan Chowdhury, chief operating officer Faiyaz Safir, co-founder and CSO John Buckly and senior executive Abdullah Al Saad were present on the occasion.
