Glenrich International School hosted an event titled GlenFest: Spirits Unite on its Uttara senior campus in Dhaka on Saturday.

The event brought students, parents and the wider community together for a celebration of talent, creativity and shared spirit, said a press release.


Amlan K Saha, principal of Glenrich International School, Uttara, delivered the opening address and setting an enthusiastic tone for the celebrations ahead.

He remarked, ‘GlenFest is a day we look forward to because it allows our students to show who they are outside their classroom. It’s encouraging to see them take the leadership, try new things and enjoy the campus in a different way.’

Participants enjoyed a range of activities and competitions throughout the day, including art competition, singing and dance competitions where young artists showcased their creativity.

Alongside the performances, carnival rides like the Nagordola, punching machine and jungle jumper.

A key highlight of GlenFest was the electrifying live band performances by three talented school bands: ‘Ignite’ from Glenrich International School, Uttara, ‘Bhootbaksho’ from Scholastica, and ‘Blueboard’ from International Hope School, Bangladesh.

The carnival also featured stalls showcasing local crafts, arts, books, confectionery, apparel and a variety of delicious food.

The event concluded with the announcement of competition results, celebrating the achievements of all participants.
