900m poor people exposed to climate shocks, UN warns
Nearly 80 per cent of the world鈥檚 poorest, or about 900 million people, are directly exposed to climate hazards exacerbated by global warming, bearing a 鈥榙ouble and deeply unequal burden,鈥� the United Nations warned Friday.
