The students of the 35th batch of Abdullah Al Mamun Theatre School on Sunday staged their final production titled ‘Prem Prolobhon Dondo, conceptualised and directed by Tanvir Nahid Khan, at the Nilima Ibrahim Auditorium of Bangladesh Mahila Samity in the capital.
The performance portrayed the story of three women – Nora, Dunyasha and Rada – performed by the 35th batch students, said a press release.
Nora is a character in Henrik Ibsen’s ‘A Doll’s House’, while Dunyasha is the daughter of a station master from Alexander Pushkin’s short story titled ‘The Station Master’ and Rada is a Gypsy girl from the short story titled ‘Makar Chudra’ by Maxim Gorky.
The Abdullah Al Mamun Theatre School run by drama troupe Theatre regularly operates a six month theatre appreciation course. Â
