In celebration of July Mass Uprising Day, the Bangladesh Tennis Federation is organising the 鈥楯ago July 2025 Tennis Tournament鈥� with the sponsorship of M and J Group, which begins today at the National Tennis Complex in Ramna.
General Secretary of the Bangladesh Tennis Federation, Ishtiaq Ahmed, announced this at a press conference on Thursday.听
Treasurer of the BTF MA Jinnah, tournament director Shafiqul Islam Sarker, and convener of the BTF Tournament sub-committee were also present.
The competition will include men's singles and women's singles events, with a total prize money of Tk 140,000.
A total of 81 players will participate in the competition, including 73 in men's singles and eight in women's singles.
To ensure the competition runs smoothly, all sub-committee members鈥攊ncluding the tournament committee, officiating committee, tennis court, and accommodation sub-committees鈥攁re providing full support.
The committee also made arrangements for accommodation and meals for the players and coaches coming from outside Dhaka.
The final match and award distribution ceremony will be held on August 5, 2025.
