Gonoforum on Saturday announced an initial list of 133 party leaders taking part in the Jatiya Sangsad election to be held in February next year.
The party鈥檚 acting president Subrata Chowdhury at a press conference in the National Press Club, announcing the names of the candidates, appreciated the decision of the interim government of holding referendum on the day of national election.
He hoped that the election would be held in free, fair and credible manner in the first half of February and his party would take part in the election.
Our party will set candidates later for more seats in the Jatiya Sangsad election, Subrata Chowdhury said.
The aspirant candidates included acting president Subrata Chowdhury in Dhaka-6 constituency, general secretary Mohammad Miznur Rahman in Magura-1, presidium members SM Altaf Hossain in Dhaka-5, AKM Jaglul Haider Afrique Narsingdi-3, Mostaque
Ahmed in Cumilla-3,聽 Shrabani Mostafa, daughter of Mostafa Mohsin Montu, in Dhaka-7, Latifur Bari Hamim in Mymensingh-9, Mohammad Ullah Modhu in Patuakhali-3, among others.
