Mahtab Osmani joined Bank Asia PLC as deputy managing director, effective Tuesday.
He has also taken the role of head of corporate business, international banking and export finance, said a press release.
He brings 24 years of experience from working at Standard Chartered Bank, where he progressed from an analyst role to senior leadership positions within corporate and investment banking division.
During his tenure at the bank, he led two major business segments 鈥� global corporates and large corporate coverage 鈥� as executive director at different times.
He serves as a director of CFA Society Bangladesh.
He holds a BBA and an executive MBA from the Institute of Business Administration, University of Dhaka, and is a CFA Charter-holder.
