Southeast Bank PLC has launched eight agent banking outlets to facilitate the people outside the formal banking system across the country, especially in Chapainawabganj, Gazipur, Manikganj, Barishal, Rajbari and Tangail, said a press release.
Managing director (current charge) Abidur Rahman Chowdhury virtually inaugurated the operations of the agent banking outlets recently.
Senior executives from the bank鈥檚 head office, head of branches, and the proprietors of the eight agent banking outlets were also connected virtually.
Southeast Bank agent banking, branded as 鈥楽hagotom,鈥� offers a range of modern and technology-driven Conventional and 鈥楾ijarah鈥�-Islamic Banking services.
