The 11th annual general meeting of Trust Islami Life Insurance Limited was held at Dhaka Boat Club under the chairmanship of the company鈥檚 chairman on a hybrid platform on Tuesday.
The meeting approved a 5 per cent cash dividend for the year 2025 with the participation of shareholders.
In addition, the approval of the financial report, the report of the board of directors, balance sheet, profit and loss account and audit report, election of directors, appointment of auditors and determination of remuneration were approved by a majority vote of the shareholders.
The company鈥檚 chief executive officer Mohammad Gias Uddin and the chairman of the board of directors Mohd Ataur Rahman Bhuiyan spoke at the meeting.
The chief executive officer answered questions on the company鈥檚 financial statements sent to the shareholders through various channels in the meeting.
The company鈥檚 2024 agenda was approved by the highest number of votes cast by shareholders.
The meeting was chaired by company secretary Chowdhury Mohammad Farid Uddin.
