
The number of the institutions with 100 per cent pass rate has declined in this year’s Secondary School Certificate and its equivalent examinations across Bangladesh in comparison with that in the past year.
Last year, the number was 2,968 and the number came down to 984 this year.
The results, published on Thursday, showed that the combined pass rate this year stood at 68.45 per cent which was 83.04 per cent in 2024.
This year, 19,04,086 students — 9,52,389 girls and 9,51,697 4 boys — have appeared in the SSC and equivalent examinations from 30,088 institutions under 11 education boards, while a total of 13,03,426 examinees passed the exams.
