The Tour Operators Association of Bangladesh, the leading trade body in the tourism industry, honoured thirteen individuals for their outstanding contributions to Bangladesh鈥檚 tourism sector, according to a press release.
The announcement came at the 13th Biman Bangladesh Travel and Tourism Fair 2025, the country鈥檚 largest tourism exhibition, held at the Bangladesh-China Friendship Conference Centre in Dhaka.
Among the recipients were three journalists, Masud Rumi, business editor of Daily Kaler Kantho鈥� Baten Biplob, chief news editor of Asian TV and general secretary of the Aviation and Tourism Journalists Forum of Bangladesh and Saifullah Suman, senior reporter at Bangladesh Television and joint secretary of ATJFB.
In the Travel Vlogger Awards, the winners included R K Sohan in the Storytelling Travel Vlogger category, Jannat, the Lunatic Traveller, in the Women Travel Vlogger category, Petuk Couple in the Couple and Family Travel Vlogger category, and Just a Minute in the Rising Travel Vlogger category.
In the Photography Contest, Ridoy secured first place, followed by Bipul Ahmed in second and Tonmoy Das in third.
Shahriar Hossain Shizu won the Video Contest, while Sajib Mahmud took home the award for the Story Writing Competition.
