Rangpur and Sylhet claimed wins on the third day of their fifth round matches of the ongoing National Cricket League at the respective venues on Monday.
At the Rajshahi Divisional Stadium, Rangpur defeated Rajshahi by five wickets.
The hosts resumed on 12 for no loss in their second innings but were dismissed for 119 in 37 overs despite solid starts from Nayeem Ahmed (32) and Sabbir Hosan (33).
Mehedi Hasan was the pick of the Rangpur bowlers with 4-26, while Mukidul Islam (3-29) and Robiul Haque (3-46) picked up three wickets each.
Rangpur faltered early, but Nasir Hossain鈥檚 unbeaten 52 and Tanbir Hayder鈥檚 28 helped them chase the target of 132-5 at ease.
Sylhet secured a dominant 147-run win over Chattogram at Shaheed Chandu Stadium in Bogura.
Sylhet ended the second day on 193-6 and were bowled out for 207, setting a target of 352 for Chattogram.
Chattogram鈥檚 Md Ifran Hossain (5-38) and Nayeem Hasan (5-76) impressed with five wickets each, but it was in vain.
During their chase, Chattogram were dismissed for 205, with Shahadat Hossain Dipu top-scoring with 62 and Irfan Shukkur contributing 37 runs. Sylhet鈥檚 Abu Jayed Rahi returned with the figure of 4-43, following his five-wicket haul in the first innings.
Mymensingh matched Khulna鈥檚 first-innings total, as they reached 387-7 at stumps on the third day.
Resuming on 170-3, Mymensingh were lifted by overnight batter Azizul Hakim, who top-scored with 81, while wicketkeeper Abdul Mazid struck 57.
Al Amin Jr added 62, and Arif Ahmed made 59 as the middle order ensured a strong response to Khulna鈥檚 total.
Khulna鈥檚 attack struggled to make inroads, with Sofor Ali taking 3-50 and Samiun Basir 2-70. With both sides posting near-identical totals, the match appeared to be heading towards a draw.
In the other match, Barishal resumed on 243-5 and extended their first-innings total to 341, taking a lead of 68 runs. Tasamul Haque anchored the innings with an unbeaten 58, while Sohag Gazi contributed 35.
Dhaka鈥檚 batting woes continued as they were reeling at 124-5 at stumps, with a meagre lead of 56 runs. Ashikur Rahman Shibli (25) and Sumon Khan (15) were at the crease as Barishal held control.
Barishal bowlers dominated the evening session, with Ovi Ahmed Nobel claiming 3-27 and Tanvir Islam taking 2-5.
