Three more people died of dengue and 1,007 people hospitalised in the past 24 hours ending at 8:00am on Monday.
According to the Directorate General of Health Service two people died in areas with purview of Dhaka South City Corporation and one in Mymensingh division.
Out of the 1,007 fresh cases, 150 patients were hospitalised in Barishal division, 135 in Chattogram division, 254 in Dhaka division excluding the capital, 142 in Dhaka South City Corporation and 191 in Dhaka North City Corporation areas, 25 in Khulna division, 61 in Mymensingh division, 41 in Rajshahi division, five in Rangpur division and three in Sylhet division.
Since the start of the dengue onslaughts in the country, this year witnessed so far 339 deaths while the disease inflicted 86,004.
The dengue claimed 575 lives and inflicted 1,01,214 people in the country in the past year.
