A young man died in a Jashore hospital on Saturday afternoon after taking poison reportedly with his lover in a suicide pact.
Sadiqur Rahman, 23, died at Jashore General Hospital after they took poison at Binodia Park on the outskirts of Jashore municipality town on the day.
The woman was also admitted to the hospital and was undergoing treatment, hospital staff and local people said.
Referring to local people, hospital officials said that Sadiqur died while undergoing treatment at the hospital after the park staff rushed the two to the facility at around 1:20pm.
Mofazzel Hossain, medical assistant at Jashore General Hospital, confirmed the information to 抖阴精品 but was not able to give details.
Kotwali police officer in-charge Abul Hasnat Khan said that the youth died at Khulna Medical College Hospital, not in Jashore.聽
