Border Guard Bangladesh on Monday airlifted its member, Nayek Mohammad Akter Hossain, who was injured in a landmine explosion near the Myanmar border on Sunday, to Dhaka and admitted him to Combined Military Hospital for advanced treatment.

He was admitted to the CMH in Dhaka at about 4:12pm, says a press release.


Hossain is assigned to the Cox鈥檚 Bazar BGB 34 Battalion.

He was injured while on patrol in the Tumbru area of Naikhongchhari Upazila, Bandarban, at around 10:40am on Sunday and received treatment in the Ramu Combined Military Hospital.
