The Bangladesh Coast Guard has arrested three criminals with two domestic firearms and a large amount of ammunition at Maheshkhali in Cox鈥檚 Bazar.
The BCG media officer Lieutenant Commander Siam-ul-Haq gave this information o Thursday, said a press release.聽
He said that based on secret information, a special operation was conducted by BCG Maheshkhali station in the area adjacent to Keruntali under Maheshkhali on Wednesday.
During the operation, a search was conducted in the area and three criminals were arrested with two domestic firearms, five rounds of bullets and 25 rounds of foreign cartridges.
The process of taking further legal action against the seized evidence and the arrested persons is under process, added the press release.
