Health officials on Thursday said at least three persons died of dengue, and 363 fresh cases were reported in the past 24 hours.
鈥楧uring the period, (of the 363) 88 patients were hospitalised in Barishal division, 50 in Chattogram division, 70 in Dhaka division excluding the capital, 56 in Dhaka South City Corporation (DSCC) and 56 in Dhaka North City Corporation (DNCC) areas, 16 in Khulna division, 10 in Mymensingh division, 16 in Rajshahi division and one in Sylhet division, a Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) statement said.
Since the start of the dengue onslaughts in Bangladesh this year, 130 deaths have been witnessed so far, while the disease has afflicted 33,309.
Dengue in the past year claimed 575 lives and inflicted 1,01,214 people in the country.
