Bangladesh observed one-day state mourning on Tuesday in the tragic incident of a fighter plane crash on the Milestone School and College campus, killing at least 27 people, including 25 children.

The interim government chief adviser鈥檚 press wing in a press release issued on Monday said that the government-declared one-day state mourning would be observed on Tuesday.

The national flag will fly at half-mast at all government, semi-government and autonomous institutions, educational institutions and private buildings as well as on the premises of all Bangladesh missions abroad.

Special prayers will be offered at all mosques and other places of worship in the country for seeking recovery of the injured and eternal peace of the departed souls of the deceased.
