The joint forces have arrested three alleged drug traders and seized heroin, cash money and other belongings from their possessions at Adaghat village under Rampal in Bagerhat on Friday night.

Major Imrul Kayes, commander of 42 field regiment artillery of Rampal camp, said on Saturday that acting on a tip off, they raided a house and arrested three drug traders with 22 grams of heroin and cash amount of Taka 1,99,330.


The team also seized four android phones, a button mobile set, a weighing machine, a blank page of cheque book, one Yamaha motorcycle, 1,000 pieces of forged currency and one pair of ear ring from the house.

The arrested drug traders, Baizid Hassan Rabbi, 22; Rabiul Islam Raju, 34; and Morsalin Sheikh, 23, are residents of Adaghat village.

The arrested persons were later handed over to Rampal police along with the seized items. A case has been filed with Rampal police under drug control act in this connection.
