The body of a man was recovered from the under construction bridge at Ranigonj point of Shitalakhaya River in Gazipur on Sunday.
Police recovered the body of Khorshed Alam, three days after he went missing from Fakir Majnu Shah Bridge in Kapasia while he had been bathing in the river.
Officer-in-charge of Kapasia Police Station, Joynal Abedin Mandal, said that Khorshed Alam, 40, son of Abdul Mannan from Madhayapara village of Kapsia had been taking a bath with his parents and drowned in Shitalakhaya on Friday.
