A 12-year-old child died after a wall collapsed during 苍辞谤鈥檞别蝉迟别谤 at Baraigram in Natore on Thursday.
The deceased was Bithi Khatun, a student of Agran Ganajagaran non-formal Primary School.
Family members said that when she was washing her hands at the tap inside their home around 8:00pm on Wednesday, a guava tree and adjacent wall collapsed on her amid storm.
The family members quickly rescued her and took her to a local private hospital where the doctor declared her dead.
Baraigram police station officer-in-charge Golam Sarwar Hossain said that police visited the spot upon receiving the news and took legal steps accordingly.
