A staff of Dhaka Medical College Hospital died on Wednesday after falling sick suddenly amid extreme heat weather in Dhaka on Wednesday.
The deceased is Md Hanif Mia, 40, in Rayerbagh area of the capital and hailed from Gaodia village under Louhajang Police Station in Munshiganj.
Hanif鈥檚 colleague Md Shahid Mia said that Hanif returned home on Wednesday morning after duty at cabin block on the third floor of the old building of the hospital.
He said that Hanif was brought to DMCH at about 1:00pm as he had suddenly fallen sick amid extreme heat at on-duty doctors at DMCH declared him dead.
DMCH Police Camp in-charge inspector Md Bachchu Mia said that it was initially believed that Hanif died from extreme heat but the cause of the death will be ascertained after an autopsy report. 聽
