Scholastica Mirpur Campus concluded its two-day annual drama festival on the campus in Dhaka on Friday.
Students from the school鈥檚 Drama, Music, and Dance Clubs staged the children鈥檚 classic, Goopy Gyne Bagha Byne by Upendrakishore Ray Chowdhury, at the STM Auditorium, said a press release.
On the first day, filmmaker Giasuddin Selim attended the event as chief guest, while on the second day, Professor Syed Jamil Ahmed, founding chairperson of the department of theatre and performance studies at the University of Dhaka graced the occasion.
Nurun Nahar Mozumder, principal of Scholastica Mirpur Campus, also addressed the audience.
Directed by Sunny Ghosh, performers of the play included Barnil Murchona, Ananya Adri Zara, Tajim Tajwar, Bin Yamin Khan Rhythm and Afsara Tasnim Zara.
Music direction was by Syed Mehraj Kabir and dance direction by Shammi Yasmin Jhinuk and Tanzila Meghla.
A large number of students, parents and teachers enjoyed the theatrical performance.
