Teachers, employees and students of the Rabindra University, Bangladesh protested on the highway, demanding early approval and full implementation of the development project proposal for the construction of a permanent campus of the university, at Shahzadpur in Sirajganj on Wednesday.

During this time, teachers and students raised their demand for the construction of a permanent campus through protest songs and poems, said a press release. 聽


Even though nine years have passed since its establishment, the university鈥檚 teachers, students, officials and employees have been expressing their demands, frustration and anger to the government for a long time due to the non-approval of the outstanding DPP of Rabindra University.

On July 26, by boycotting the Rabindra University Day programme, the university鈥檚 teachers, students, officials and employees protested for the speedy approval and full implementation of the DPP.

A silent procession and mass communication will be held from Academic Building-2 of Rabindra University to BSCIC bus stand, mentioned the press release.
