Kabi Kazi Nazrul Islam Hall of Chittagong University of Engineering and Technology held a fresher and farewell reception 2025 at the CUET in Chattogram on Monday.
Vice-chancellor of CUET, Professor Mahmud Abdul Matin Bhuiyan was present as chief guest while Directorate of Student Welfare director Professor Md Mahbubul Alam was present as special guest at the programme, which was presided over by provost of Kabi Kazi Nazrul Islam Hall Professor Md Riaz Akhter Mallick, said a press release on Tuesday.
Jointly hosted by Hamim Ibne Hasan, a 22nd batch student of the department of mechanical engineering, and Jabedul Islam, a 22nd batch student of the department of EEE, assistant provost of the hall Md Samiun Basir delivered the welcome speech at the programme.
Various departments鈥�154 students were bid farewell and new students were welcomed at the programme.
Two alumni of the hall were honoured who have joined CUET as lecturers. In addition, awards were distributed among the champions and runners-up of various events of the Inter-Hall Annual Sports Competition-2025.
