Milestone Preparatory KG School has recently celebrated the birth anniversary of Nobel laureate Rabindranath Tagore and national poet Kazi Nazrul Islam at the Kamaluddin Auditorium of the permanent campus of Milestone College at Diabari in Dhaka.
The event was organised on the occasion of the 164th birth anniversary of Rabindranath Tagore and the 126th birth anniversary of Kazi Nazrul Islam, said a press release on Sunday.聽
The school鈥檚 Bangla medium students participated in the event.
Executive principal of Milestone Preparatory KG School Rifat Nabi Alam was present as chief guest while founder and adviser of Milestone College Colonel Nurun Nabi (retd), principal of Milestone Preparatory KG School鈥檚 Diabari campus Captain Md Jahangir Alam Khan (retd) and head teacher Khadija Akter were present at the event.
The vent also featured discussions on the contributions of Rabindranath Tagore and Kazi Nazrul Islam to Bangla literature.
