Bank Asia PLC arranged an event titled ‘Earnings Disclosure Q3-2025’ to disclose its profits to shareholders, said a press release.

Bank Asia’s net profit for the first nine months of 2025 increased by 71 per cent compared with that in the same period of the past year.


From January to September, the bank recorded a net profit of Tk 351 crore, which was Tk 205 crore during the same period in 2024.

Managing director Sohail RK Hussain, additional managing directors ANM Mahfuz and Nurullah Chaudhury, were present among others.

The event, held online, was organised at Bank Asia Tower, Karwan Bazar in the capital on Wednesday.

According to the bank’s press release, investment income nearly doubled to Tk 1,930 crore, boosting operating profit.

As of the end of September 2025, the bank’s earnings per share stood at Tk 2.58, compared to Tk 1.44 a year earlier. Its net asset value per share reached Tk 29.28, marking a 21-per cent year-on-year increase.

During the July-September quarter, the bank posted a net profit of approximately Tk 39.90 crore. The bank also reported significant increase in its operating cash flow supported primarily by substantial growth in customer deposits, according to the release.
