Children book publication house Ikrimikri is displaying their publications, illustrations and artworks in a six-day exhibition titled Ikrimikri: A World of Picture Books under way at the Alliance Fran莽aise de Dhaka.聽
The exhibition, commenced on May 2, is featuring a diverse range of activities for children, including puppet shows, theatre performances, book-making sessions and storytelling sessions for children.
Visitors are also participating in various sessions at the exhibition.
On the concluding day of the exhibition, child artistes of the theatre troupe BotTola will perform a children play titled Fangsang, based on a book published by Ikrimikri, at the event.
Ikrimikri focuses on local languages, cultures and storytelling traditions. They also publish a monthly magazine named Ikrimikri.
