The debut collection of poems of aspiring poet Anas Sadan titled Thy Black Wings is now available at different bookshops.

Thy Black Wings has been published by London, Cambridge, New York and Sharjah-based independent publishing house Austin Macauley Publishers.

The book contains 37 poems.

Anas Sadan, mentioning that the journey of thinking is a deep and abiding fascination with the sublimity of human spirit, said that he had kept his face always toward the sunshine and shadows had fall behind him.

He believes, ‘The most beautiful destinations are the ones we stumble upon when we run behind darkness. The inner questions— tamed in my invisibility were a great inspiration to write “Thy Black Wings”.’

Regarding the poems of the collection, he said, he was just setting down by a campfire, watching the flames dance and telling stories that had been on his mind for a long time.

‘It is about the kind of peace we find when we are all alone out in the wide-open window, and see something simple that makes all the senses in the world. This book is my way of singing a tune about finding light in the high sky, even when the clouds are hanging low,’ he added.

He mentioned, ‘I reckon it like a breath of fresh air on a long journey.’

Readers can purchase ‘Thy Black Wings’ on online platforms, including Amazon, and the website of Austin Macauley Publishers.
