A Dhaka-bound US-Bangla Airlines flight was delayed by 26 minutes on Wednesday morning after a wild fox was spotted on the runway at Chattogram鈥檚 Shah Amanat International Airport.
Confirming the incident, airport public relations officer Md Ibrahim Khalil stated that the US-106 flight was scheduled to depart at 11:40am. However, a fox appeared on the runway just before takeoff.
The inspection team quickly went there, scared the fox away, and ensured the runway was clear for the flight to take off.
The flight eventually departed at 12:06 pm, he said.
