
The advisory council on Thursday decided that the government would provide all necessary supports to the families of the fatal and injured victims of the Bangladesh Air Force fighter jet crash incident.
Decision was also taken to provide state award to two deceased teachers in the accident.
The education ministry will take next steps after holding a discussion with the school authorities.
The decisions were taken at a meeting of the council held on Thursday.
Another decision was taken to hold special prayers at all religious institutions on Friday for the victims.
The death toll from the July 21 Bangladesh Air Force jet crash into Milestone School and College at the capital’s Uttara area reached 32 as one more victim died on Wednesday.
Till July 22, the number of injured people in the crash was 165, according to the Inter Services Public Relations directorate.
The authorities handed over 21 victims’ bodies to their families till Wednesday.
Among the deceased, 25 were children, including many under 12 years of age, two were schoolteachers, and one was the aircraft’s pilot.
