Only patients, their relatives, and hospital staff are being allowed inside.
Meanwhile, journalists are not being allowed at the hospital without permission from the Bangladesh Army.
Ansar members were seen guarding the main gate, while army members were seen standing at the entrance to ensure security.
On-duty Ansar members said that the measures were taken to control overcrowding at the hospital.
The hospital staff were seen showing their ID cards to get access to the hospital, while relatives of patients had to provide the details of the patient and their relationship.
They were being allowed to enter the hospital only after verifying their identity.
