The government has appointed three commissioners to the Bangladesh Securities and Exchange Commission recently.

Shaikh Shamshuddin Ahmed, currently serving as a commissioner at the BSEC, has been reappointed as a commissioner.


ATM Tariquzzaman, MD of the Dhaka Stock Exchange, and Mohammad Mohsin, former DG of the Bangladesh Karmachari Kallyan Board, are the two new additions to the commissioners’ list of the regulatory authority.

The Financial Institutions Division of the Ministry of Finance has issued three letters of notifications in this regard on Wednesday. All three appointees have been given four-year terms.
