Veteran freedom fighter and president of Jatiya Samajtantrik Dal-JSD ASM Abdur Rob on Thursday evening returned in Dhaka after taking treatment in a Bangkok hospital.
He left for Thailand for treatment one and half month ago with his wife Tania Rob, also party senior vice-president.
He had a major operation in Bangkok and got cured of his illness. Physicians advised him to take rest, a party press release said.
Party general secretary Shahid Uddin Mahmud Shapon along with central leaders Kamal Uddin Patwari, KM Jabir, Mainur Rahman and Syeda Fatema Hena, among others, received him at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in Dhaka city.
