
Leaders of Jatiya Samajtantrik Dal-JSD, a partner of the Ganatantra Mancha on Friday at a meeting in Dhaka called on the interim government to end trials of the fascists.
 The fascists have a chance of reviving again if their trials are delayed, they said. Â
 The JSD organised a representatives’ meeting of the Dhaka division at its Gulistan central office presided over by the party joint general secretary, Kamal Uddin Patwory.
General secretary of the party, Shahid Uddin Mahmod Shapon, called on the interim government to take steps to end the trials of fascists responsible for the killing of about two thousand students and people in July uprising.
Senior vice-president of the party, Tania Rob, called on the interim government to implement the spirit of the July uprising and hold the next general elections after carrying out required reforms of the constitution and ruling system.
She said that without democratic transition, the country could not be run by the interim government for a long time.
Kamal Uddin Parwory called on the party leaders and activists to work for strengthening the organisation across the country.
Vice-president of the party, Siraj Mia, central leaders Nurul Akhter, Mainur Rahman, Syeda Fatema Hena and some Dhaka division leaders spoke at the meeting.
