The Jatiya Samajtantrik Dal-JSD, a partner of the Ganatantra Mancha, on Saturday called on the interim government to take steps to preserve the wall writings and graffiti drawn in the July movement across the country.

General secretary of the party, Shahid Uddin Mahmod Shapon, at a representatives meeting of Dhaka City unit at its central office at Gulistan said that the young activists had drawn the graffiti in different walls across the country, which had reflected the spirits of the students and people movement of July.


He called on the interim government to preserve the artworks in digital format, publish books and display the works in July Museum.

Chaired by coordinator of the Dhaka City JSD, Kamal Uddin Patwary, senior vice-president Tania Rob, standing committee member Seraj Mia, central leaders Nurul Akter, Mosharraf Hossain and Kamal Uddin Majumder, among others, spoke at the meeting.
