
A four-day international art exhibition titled Nepal Art Expo 2025 curated by Bangladeshi young artist Md Imran Hossen is under way at the Art Council Gallery in Kathmandu.
The event was organised by The Nepal Art Council.
The exhibition supported by the Nepal Academy of Fine Arts is featuring artworks of 119 artists from 12 countries, including 78 artists from Nepal and 25 from Bangladesh.
The other countries participating in the event included France, the United Kingdom
The exhibition was inaugurated by the chancellor of the NAFA, Narad Mani Hartamchhali, on January 23.
Bangladeshi artists including Namirah Farzana, Imrooz Shimu, Roksana Amllia, Chimoy Ghosh, Dravid Saikot, among others, displayed their artworks including paintings, sculptures, photography and others at the exhibition.
The expo also comprises workshops, discussions and short film screenings.
‘The expo is an opportunity for artists and audiences alike to reflect on the role of creativity in our lives and to celebrate the rich diversity of human expression. Young artists can explore the world through a new perspective from this expo,’ said curator Md Imran Hossen.
The expo will end on January 26.
