Miss Universe Americas as well as Miss Peru 2024 Tatiana Calmell on Wednesday announced the Miss Universe Bangladesh 2025 contest scheduled to be held in July.
The announcement was made at a press conference at Padma Hall at Pan Pacific Sonargaon Dhaka while she is currently visiting Bangladesh as part of a cultural tour aimed at promoting heritage, tourism, and international friendship.
Tatiana Calmell, a Peruvian actress鈥搈odel and activist, also launched new products of Miss Universe Skincare at the event while national director and host of Miss Universe Bangladesh Mustafa Rafiqul Islam Duke and National Director for Miss Universe Canada Denis Martin Davila were present.
Tatiana Calmell also shared her personal journey, and highlighted the international and cultural significance of the Miss Universe platform.
Her tour comprises visits to Bangladesh鈥檚 most iconic cultural and heritage sites, showcasing the nation鈥檚 rich history, traditions, and hospitality to a global audience.聽
鈥楾he platform represents culture and tradition on a global stage,鈥� Tatiana said, adding that sometimes life crosses the fear and women should work for empowerment.
She also said that youths should know how to maintain their cultural practice and also their goal of what they want
to achieve.
Mustafa Rafiqul Islam Duke said that Miss Universe was more than a beauty pageant as it鈥檚 a global platform that celebrates intelligence, confidence, and purpose.
