AB Bank PLC has recently concluded its month-long 鈥楨ntrepreneur Development Programme鈥� in Barishal, said a press release.
The programme was held under Skills for Industry Competitiveness and Innovation Programme funded by the ADB, implemented by the Finance Division and under direct supervision of SME and Special Programmes Department of the Bangladesh Bank.聽
During the event, certificates were awarded to 25 trained entrepreneurs and eligible applicants were given loans under open credit disbursement programme.
Bangladesh Bank Barishal Office executive director Madhusudan Banik was present as chief guest.
BB Barishal Office director Imtiaz Ahmad Masum, SMESPD additional director and programme director (SICIP-PIU) Md Nazrul Islam, joint director and deputy programme director (SICIP-PIU) Ayub Ali attended as special guests.
AB Bank additional managing director ZM Babar Khan chaired the closing ceremony.
AB Bank SME banking head Iftekhar Enam Awal and program coordinator and Barishal branch manager Md Bakauddin Mia were present on the occasion.
