Under supervision of the Ministry of Civil Aviation and Tourism, ‘World Tourism Day 2025’ was celebrated on Saturday, said a press release.
This year’s theme was ‘Tourism for Sustainable Development.’
On the occasion, a rally was organised from the premises of the Agargaon Tourism Building in the capital, where Biman Bangladesh Airlines managing director and chief executive officer Md Safiqur Rahman participated.
Adviser Sheikh Bashir Uddin presided over the event.
Through participation in the rally, the importance of tourism in sustainable development was highlighted and a commitment was expressed to build a responsible tourism sector.
