Mohammad Zahirul Islam has been re-elected chairman of Popular Life Insurance Company Limited, said a press release.
The decision was taken during the company鈥檚 285th board meeting.
He obtained bachelor of information technology degree from University of Canberra in Australia.
Earlier, he was a director of Popular Life Insurance Company and a member of its claims committee, real estate committee and investment committee.
He is also managing director of PHP Ship Breaking and Recycling Industries Limited, PHP Spinning Mills Limited, PHP Ispat Limited and PHP Cotton Mills Limited.
