Modhumoti Bank PLC signed an MoU with the University of Global Village at the university campus at Barisal on Sunday.
Arab Fazlur Rahman, deputy managing director and chief business officer of Modhumoti Bank and Professor Abdul Baqee, vice-chancellor of the UGV, signed the agreement on behalf of their respective organisations.
Md Shafiul Azam, managing director and CEO, Shahnawaj Chowdhury, additional managing director of Modhumoti Bank, and Md Imran Chowdhury, chairman of the Board of Trustees of the UGV, were present.
Under this agreement, faculty members and other employees of the University will enjoy the convenience of withdrawing their salaries and accessing exclusive facilities such as credit cards and personal loans through Modhumoti Payroll Banking, available at the Barishal Branch as well as across all branches and agent banking outlets of Modhumoti Bank.
In addition, customers will benefit from the installation of a Cash Recycler Machine (CRM) and a dedicated collection booth on its campus, alongside cutting-edge digital banking solutions including the Modhumoti Go-Smart App and Corporate Internet Banking services.
