The 25th annual general meeting of Global Insurance PLC, held recently through hybrid system, approved 10 per cent cash dividend for the shareholders for the year 2024.
The shareholders expressed their satisfaction on the overall performance of the company during 2024.
Global Insurance chairman Sayeed Ahmed presided over the meeting.
Vice-chairman SM Sarowar Alam, chairman of the audit committee and independent director former chief of naval staff Vice Admiral Zahir Uddin Ahmed (retd), chairman of the Nomination and Remuneration Committee and independent director former government secretary Md Ebadot Ali, chairman of the Risk Management Committee and director Syed Badrul Alam, chief executive officer Md Jamirul Islam, senior consultant ABM Nurul Haq, company secretary Md Omar Faruk, Md Ashraful Alam and a large number of shareholders of the company also participated in the meeting directly and through digital platform.
