Sonali Bank PLC, Agrani Bank PLC, Janata Bank PLC and Rupali Bank PLC on Wednesday organised tree plantation programmes as part of their ‘July Revival and Youth Festival-2025’ celebrations, commemorating July Uprising Day, said the four banks’ press releases.
Sonali Bank managing director and chief executive officer Md Shawkat Ali Khan and Financial Institution Division additional secretary Md Azimuddin Biswas inaugurated the bank’s programme at Sonali Bank Staff Collage premises on the day.
Among others, Sonali Bank deputy managing directors Md Rezaul Karim, Md Nurun Nabi and general manager Shahida Khanam were present.
Agrani Bank MD and CEO Md Anwarul Islam and FID additional secretary Md Sayeed Qutub inaugurated the bank’s programme at its premises at Shahbagh in the capital.
Among others, Agrani Bank DMDs Md Abul Bashar, Rubana Parvin, GMs Md Shamsul Alam, AKM Fazlul Haque, Mohammad Fazlul Karim, Md Ekhtiar Uddin and Md Jalal Uddin were present.
Janata Bank MD Md Mazibur Rahman and FID additional secretary Md Ahsan Kabir inaugurated the bank’s programme at its Dhaka North premises.
Among others, Janata Bank Dhaka North divisional office GM Md Anisur Rahman Akand was present.
Rupali Bank MD Kazi Md Wahidul Islam and FID joint secretary Delowar Hossain inaugurated the bank’s programme at its premises at Motijheel in the capital.
Among others, Rupali Bank GMs Mohammad Shahjahan Chowdhury, Mohammad Shafayet Hossain and Md Noman Mia were present.
