Karmasangsthan Bank鈥檚 loan and advance department on Thursday hosted an entrepreneurship development training programme at Upazila Livestock Office and Veterinary Hospital at Gouripur in Mymensingh, said a press release.

Managing director Arun Kumar Chowdhury attended as chief guest.


Karmasangsthan Bank Dhaka Divisional Office deputy general manager Muhammad Masudur Rahman presided over the event.

The training session featured Mohammad Mahbubul Alam, additional district livestock officer of Mymensingh, and professor Jayonta Bhattacharjee from surgery and obstetrics department at Bangladesh Agricultural University, as special discussants.

Also present were Md Saidul Islam, regional manager of Netrokona region.

In his speech, Arun Kumar Chowdhury emphasised the significance of entrepreneurship training not only for poverty alleviation but also for improving quality of life through employment. He stressed the importance of building a productive, self-reliant, and sustainable Bangladesh. He urged participants to utilise their acquired knowledge for the greater welfare of society.

Ninety entrepreneurs from livestock sector of Gouripur Upazila took part in the training.
