Automaker BYD ranked 91th in 2025 Fortune Global 500 list, which was released on Tuesday, said a press release.
BYD advanced from 143rd place in 2024 and has now appeared on the list for four consecutive years since 2022.
In 2024, BYD achieved synergistic growth across its four industries, reporting annual revenue of RMB 777.1 billion (approximately US$107.1 billion) - a 29 per cent year-on-year increase. The company also set a new record in new energy vehicle sales, reaching 4.27 million units for the year, representing 41 per cent year-on-year growth. This performance secured BYD鈥檚 position as the global new energy passenger vehicle sales champion for the third consecutive year, demonstrating strong market resilience and high-quality growth, the release said.
