Mohammad Jahangir Alam has been appointed as deputy managing director of Jamuna Bank PLC effective Tuesday, said a press release.
Prior to joining the bank, he served at City Bank PLC as SEVP and cluster head of public sector, public-private partnership and service sector under wholesale banking division.
He also served at BRAC EPL Investments Limited and Eastern Bank Limited.
He completed his MBA from the Institute of Business Administration, University of Dhaka and earned his BSc in civil engineering from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology, majoring in environmental engineering.
