BRAC Bank has recently organised a customer engagement event at Daudkandi in Cumilla, aimed promoting its remittance products such as ‘Probashi Poribar’ and ‘TARA Probashi Poribar,’ a press release said.
The event also focused on creating awareness among remittance beneficiary families about the advantages of utilising formal banking channels and importance of prudent financial management.
Among others, BRAC Bank deputy managing director and treasury and financial institutions head Md Shaheen Iqbal, DMD and alternate banking channels head Nazmur Rahim, remittance and probashi banking head Shahrear Zamil and agent banking head Md Nazmul Hasan were present.
According to the release, 160 remittance-receiving family members and local customers joined the event. In recognition of their significant contributions, top remittance recipients were honoured during the event.
